Juried Fleece Sale

We are pleased to announce the first annual juried fleece sale*.

Not a show or competition, this is a venue assuring hand spinners and fiber hand crafters of good quality fiber properly classed.

We are very lucky to have a diverse range of fiber farms and animals in the vendor community and are hoping to have a good selection of many types of natural animal fibers including wool, mohair, alpaca, llama and angora for a wide range of uses.

Each fleece will be examined prior to the sale. Improperly skirted, very dirty or having excessive vegetative matter will not be allowed in the sale. Wool that is felted, weak, mildewed or otherwise defective will also be disqualified.

The accepted fleeces will be divided into wool groups: Fine, Medium, Longwool and Double coated and also Llama, Alpaca, Mohair and Angora classes. Any evaluation notes (with suggested end uses) will be included with the fleece.

Entries accepted Friday Sept 7th 4:00-6:00 and Saturday Sept 8th 9:00-10:00. Unsold fleeces must be picked up by 6:00pm Sunday Sept. 9th or they become the property of Endless Mountains Festival Committee.
